Town Wide Yard Sales June 4th and 5th.
While enjoying all the activities at the All-Ameriican Country Hoedown here in Campbellsburg Indiana, you may just want to take a stroll around town and check out all the yard sales, who know what treasure can be found.

Just a little more than a month to go
Just little over a month to go and it will be festival time here in Campbellsburg Indiana.  With many events for the whole family to enjoy.  To start off the festival, there will be a senior luncheon on Friday June 4th, with a great meal, bingo, cake walk and this years selection of Senior King and Queen. The Classic Car Show will start at 5:30 pm, come and check out all the great looking cars, visit with the owners and step back into history. Stop by the community building where you will be able to enjoy a fish sandwich and beverage served up by the Campbellsburg Masons. The Talent show will be at 6 pm, where many will showcase their musical talents and compete to be chosen as the best. Paul Smith and Company will follow and entertain us with toe tapping tunes, and this is just Fridays lineup. See you at the All-American Country Hoedown.

The entertainment for the All-American Country Hoedown here in Campbellsburg Indiana this year will inlclude country rock band "Paul Smith and Company", "Westview Bell Choir", "Lisa Adams & Kayce Johnson" flutists, country singer "Paul Stout",  "Dullcimers" from Bedford and Corydon, "Jimmy Wilcoxen", "J C O'Neal". Bluegrass by "Grandview Junction" and 'Limited Slip. "John Trinkle and Tanya Webb", line dancing by "Sparkles and Spurs" the "New Covenant Youth Group and to finish off this years event gospel group "Sonshiners Quartet".

Chili Cook-off Big Success

This years Chili Cook-off was a big succuss and the money raised with this event will help greatly in the preparations of this years festival.  Congratulations this years winners: 1st. place Dustin Houchin, 2nd. place Betty Chanley, 3rd. place Sue Bennett.  A Peoples Choice Award was added this year and the winner is: Norm Chanley.  Thanks to all who made this event possible.

Habitat for Humanity - 5K Walk - Run
On Saturday June 5th. The Habitat for Humanity of Washington County will have their 5K Walk/Run Fundraiser in conjunction with the All-American Country Hoedown Festival here in Campbellsburg.  All proceeds will go towards to affordable housing for a low-income family.

Did you know -
Through the work of Habitat, thousands of low-income families have found new hope in the form of affordable housing. Churches, community groups and others have joined together to successfully tackle a significant social problem – decent housing for all. Today, Habitat for Humanity has built more than 300,000 houses, sheltering more than 1.5 million people in more than 3,000 communities worldwide.

Chili Cook-off
This years' Chili Cook-off will be held on Saturday, March 13, at the Campbellsburg Community Building starting at 6:00 pm.  All cooks should have their entries in by 5:45 pm. Prizes will be awarded for 1st. 2nd. & 3rd. Place. by a panel of Judges. This years judges are Fire Chiefs from our local fire deparments. Join us for a tasty bowl of Chili.

Committee Activities
Campbellsburg Festival Committee has been busy starting on the preparations for this years festival.  Committees are being formed. Meeting schedule for 2010 in place. New events being considered, past events under review.  All are lookiing forward to a another great success.
