We Need You!
 “Have you ever wanted to get involved with your community, but didn’t know how or where to start?” “Do you love where you live and take pride in Campbellsburg”?  “Would you like for your children to get involved with community projects”? “Does your church, work, or child’s school require community service hours”? We offer something for everyone! The Campbellsburg All-American Country Hoedown / Betterment Committee, Inc. with their special events can help you get involved at whatever level you have time for. Time commitments can range from two hours a year to as much time as you would like to dedicate.

Don’t have much time, but want to do something...

·Volunteers are needed in all areas (flexible time commitment) during the Campbellsburg All-American Country Hoedown Festival that is held the first full week-end of June each year.
·Festival Fundraisers “Chili Roundup” “Spring Smorgasbord” “Fall Smorgasbord” (flexible time commitment) 
·Volunteers are needed to serve on additional committees or just help throughout the year with knowledge or experience in: Grant Writing · Fundraising · Marketing · Sponsorships · Sales · Graphic Design · Computer Skills ·

The Campbellsburg All-American Country Hoedown Festival

The Campbellsburg All-American Country Hoedown Festival is looking for volunteers for Wednesday, June 2, 2010 through Sunday, June 6, 2010. Time commitments range from just two hours up to two days. As a private not-for-profit volunteer organization, volunteers are a crucial part to the Festival's success each year.

Become a part of the Campbellsburg All-American Country Hoedown Festival Committee -Festival volunteer meetings are held regularly January through June. All meetings are at 7:00pm at the Campbellsburg Community Building, located on Sycamore Street.


Volunteer opportunities for the
All-American Country Hoedown Festival:

Decorating – Time commitments between 5 pm until sunset on Wednesday and Thursday. Assist in decorating of Firehouse, Community Building, set up and decorate tables and Shelter House.

Arts & Crafts Area - Time commitments between 5:00 pm until sunset on Wednesday and Thursday. Volunteers will help measure and mark lines for vendor booths. Help check in vendors on Friday afternoon about 12 noon -8:00 pm and Saturday morning (6am-8am). Check on vendors all day or help do a vendor evaluation. Adults only please.

Seniors Day Luncheon – Time commitment – your call – Help set up and serve, assist with activities, help with clean-up. 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Also needed are desserts for luncheon, donation of door prizes.

Information Booth - Time commitments are one-hour shifts between 6:00 pm through 8:00 pm on Friday, 9:00 am through 6:00 pm on Saturday and 12:00 noon to 3:00 PM Sunday. Volunteers talk to the public and help answer questions. Need adults

Festival Parade - Time commitment is from 12 noon through 4:00 pm on Sunday. Adult Volunteers will help Parade Organizers line up parade participants; and go over the parade rules. Adult and youth Volunteers will help pass-out items to the crowd if participants request it.
